WHAT DO YOU DO?

I am Julia Silge, a data scientist and software engineer at Posit PBC (formerly RStudio), where I specialize in building open-source modeling and MLOps tools. I am the author of multiple books, an international keynote speaker, and a real-world practitioner with a focus on data analysis and machine learning. My passion lies in text analysis, creating visually appealing charts, and effectively communicating technical topics with diverse audiences.

WHAT DOES YOUR COMPANY DO?

Posit PBC is the open source data science company, with a mission to create open source software for data science, scientific research, and technical communication. We do this to enhance the production and consumption of knowledge by everyone, regardless of economic means. Designated as a Public Benefit Corporation, we run the company for the benefit of our customers, employees, and the data science community at large.
